WHEN WE SHIP
Most orders ship on Mondays. (Note: In certain cases, we may ship on Tuesday on a case-by-case basis or upon request.) We ship at the beginning of the week to help prevent plants from sitting in transit over the weekend. Orders placed later in the week may ship the following Monday. During holidays, extreme weather conditions, or periods of high order volume (such as live sales or restocks), processing times may be extended. We reserve the right to delay shipment if weather conditions are unsafe for live plant transit.
TRACKING
You will receive an email with tracking information once your shipping label has been created. Please note: the carrier’s estimated delivery window begins once the label has been generated. We strongly encourage customers to monitor tracking and promptly retrieve packages upon delivery to prevent exposure to heat, cold, or severe weather.
SHIPPING METHODS
Franklin Plant Co. ships via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on destination and service availability. Shipping options are available at checkout as well as separate listings for other options such as UPS or FedEx. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise stated.
PACKING
Each plant is carefully packaged to protect foliage, roots, and structure during transit. We use protective materials such as poly-fil, paper wrap, and seasonal insulation when necessary. Heat packs or cold packs may be included during extreme temperatures. Packing materials can be added via a separate listing at an additional charge when weather protection is selected or desired. All plants are pretreated with insecticide and fungicide prior to shipment.
WHEN YOUR PLANT ARRIVES
Please unpack your plant as soon as possible after delivery. Inspect the plant carefully and allow it time to acclimate to your environment before repotting or making major changes. Shipping stress is normal. Minor cosmetic imperfections such as a yellowing leaf or slight bending can occur during transit. Please contact us through the platform where you purchased your plant for the most timely response to any questions or concerns.
SHIPPING DELAYS & DAMAGE POLICY
If your plant arrives damaged, or if there are significant shipping delays that impact plant health, please contact us through the platform where you purchased your plant. Include:
- Clear photos of the plant
- Photos of the packaging and box
- Your order number
We may offer a live arrival guarantee on qualifying expedited shipments. However, please understand that shipping live plants always carries some inherent risk. Franklin Plant Co. is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided by the buyer, or damage resulting from extreme weather when weather protection was declined.
